Kathryn Taggart is committed to mentoring the residents of MyHouse, a multifaceted organization serving the Valley’s homeless youth population. Kathryn spends about an hour a day helping the women of MyHouse run their Empowerment Group. The group focuses on helping the women, many of whom are homeless or recovering addicts, change the way they think about their lives in order to approach their days with a positive outlook. They discuss Ted Talks, self-help books and typically do an activity that relates to the discussion of the day.
